Dr Imran Butt
(MBBS, FRACP)
Dr Imran Butt is an Australian trained Endocrinologist and General Physician, and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He completed his medical degree at King Edward Medical University in Pakistan. He undertook Basic Physician Training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth before moving to Brisbane for Advanced Training in General Medicine and Endocrinology. He has worked in major Queensland hospitals including Princess Alexandra Hospital, Gold Coast University Hospital, Logan Hospital and Ipswich Hospital. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Imran is actively involved in research. He has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications and has presented his work at national conferences. His philosophy is anchored in shared decision making and a true commitment to holistic and personalised care, which is further supported by a multidisciplinary team including a diabetes educator, nurse practitioner and podiatrist.
